Like the opals it’s famous for, the town of Coober Pedy is a real gem. Most tourists never get to discover its great attractions due to its remote location but, with a train stop nearby, you can get there effortlessly. The Painted Desert and Moon Plains offer unforgettable desert scenery and of course Coober Pedy is a gateway to the spectacular Lake Eyre and Flinders Ranges regions. All unique sights you’ll be glad you took the time to see. As always, our tour options are designed to fit in perfectly with the rest of your holiday whether that be reboarding the train, taking a flight to your next destination or even touring through remote outback landscapes on your way
